Based in Middleham, North Yorkshire, the racing yard is delighted to be supported by the super fibre conditioning feed, produced by local feed manufacturers, British Horse Feeds, a feed division of I'Anson Bros Ltd at Masham.
Foulrice Park Racing benefits from the newly refurbished yard, ‘Little Spigot’, providing first class training facilities in Middleham - the heart of racing in the North.
The yard is run by Trainer Patrick Holmes, with his business partners Colin and Ailsa Stirling and a very experienced senior team - horse welfare is paramount to all.
The team started using Fibre-Beet when they were looking for a high fibre feed which would promote gut health and maintain condition.
Trainer, Patrick Holmes, explains how the relationship developed with the brand:
“We started using Fibre-Beet last year and were very impressed with the palatability - even the fussiest of horses enjoy it. They look very well on the feed and maintain condition throughout the season.”

Fibre-Beet is an excellent conditioning feed for racehorses as the pectins in the beet pulp help coat the stomach lining and the quality alfalfa has an antacid effect. It is high in fibre and low in starch and sugar.
